Prerequisites

Ensure you are prepared to start developing the Schedule Sessions Copilot by meeting the following prerequisites. This will guarantee a smooth and efficient development process:

Setup Your Environment

  • Working Directory: All development work should be conducted within the "src\4-ScheduleSessionsCopilot" folder of your project workspace. Keeping your files organized and easily accessible is crucial for maintaining an effective development environment.

Enable the Copilot

  • Copilot Registration: The registration code for the new copilot capability named "GPT Schedule Sessions" is already implemented but not activated. You need to uncomment the relevant code to enable this capability. The files you need to update are located in your project workspace:
    • Enum Extension: \src\4-ScheduleSessionsCopilot\Registration\ScheduleCopilotCap.EnumExt.al
    • Install Codeunit: \src\4-ScheduleSessionsCopilot\Registration\ScheduleCopInstall.Codeunit.al

These files will register the new copilot capability in your Dynamics 365 Business Central environment, allowing you to utilize the features you'll develop in this workshop.
